Deal underscores 提升’s commitment to low-carbon polyamides and engineered materials.
提升 Performance Materials has purchased a majority stake in California-based 环状聚合物, a recycler of post-消费者, high-performance polymers including polyamide 6 and 66, polypropylene and polyester (PET). The deal provides 提升 with a consistent supply of high-quality PCR materials for its ReDefyne™ sustainable polyamides在2022年发射.
环状聚合物, which as part of the deal is renamed 环状聚合物 by 提升, reclaims and processes post-消费者 carpet via a unique technology and has redirected approximately 85 million pounds of waste from landfills into new goods since 2018.
